(Ed:  I made a mistake last post by calling those fruits grapefruit.  Someone kindly commented that in fact they are pomelo, which have a naturally thick skin.
I did learn that grapefruit are the result of crossing a pomelo and an orange.)

(Ed: Someone kindly clarified my incorrectly calling the fruit in the last post grapefruit.  It is a pomelo, which has naturally thick skin.  In doing a little research, I learned that grapefruit is the result of pairing pomelo and orange.)
