One little point of clarification: what Margaret's son says is that *sometimes* it is easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission. And the fact that I learned that from an old pastor of mine must mean that it is ok, right? But then again, the fact that he learned this in the army durning WW2 might mean that one should maybe ask oneself a question or two before acting on it!

If the Lord wills, I think Pete and i need to pray about doing something like this if and when we ever retire from our day jobs if we are still here. What a blessing you both are.
